'The Tomb' renamed as 'Escape Plan' gets earlier release

That other New Orleans-set prison-break movie -- you know, the one that isn't a now-viral videoshot by inmates at Orleans Parish Prison -- has a new name and a new release date. "The Tomb," a thriller that Arnold Schwarzengger and Sylvester Stallone shot in New Orleans last year, is now titled "Escape Plan" and will land in theaters on Sept. 13, two weeks earlier than its original Sept. 27 date, according to EW.com.

Directed by Mikael Hafstrom ("1408," "The Rite"), the film sees Stallone playing a "structural security" expert who finds himself framed for a crime he didn't commit -- but sentenced to a prison that he designed. Schwarzenegger plays a hardened inmate at the prison, from which Stallone naturally sets out to escape. Co-stars include Jim Caviezel, Sam Neill, Vincent D'Onofrio and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Nantz, off topic here, but do you happen to know how much the suit sold for of Ruby's? I don't have access to her at all, or the facebook that everyone else seems to have. Just kind of curious what it brought.

Maybe they think the name doesn't fit the premise of the movie. Sandy, I believe it went for 176.

New name just doesn't do it for me either. Although I'm going to have to see what others think about this movie--I don't know if I'll be able to sit through a movie with both Stallone and Arnold.

Yeah, Vikeau, a lot of OLD testosterone flying around there.
