You're welcome. I love this pic. I'm really excited for this movie. It's my kind of movie! P.S. Am I the only one that keeps staring at his chest, belly and forearms?

Am I the only one that is already creeped out just thinking about watching this movie? I already mentioned in another post that the time I watched 'Angel Heart' I had to sleep with the lights on, LMAO! I want my Mommy!

Oh man this photo definately creeps me out. Although Snyder I too am oddly intrigued by the chest and belly shot. Although it looks like he may have shaved his chest.

Chest and belly alert!!!And face and ears and neck...Oh My! I love the "smooth" chest look..SIGH

Great pictures love the one in front of the TV. Unfortunately I can't think of the young actor's name, Eamon? is a really good looking young man.

Rose, I notice that the sets are mostly stark and dismal but there is at least one aspect that is more of a shot of color. For instance, the TV as you pointed out, and, in the one with the Hefty bag...the blood is highlighted by the vivid red. Amazing.

I love stark and dismal. Grew up having basements, but was terrified of my grandparent's basement, basements scare me, and it appears from what I have seen some of the gruesome happenings are in a basement or a least in a dark, dank room.

From what I remember back from when the movie was filming, there was a photo of a room that was like a torture chamber in the basement. I like having a basement because it's my refuge in case of bad weather and where I feel safe. I also remember my grandparents' house and how dark and dismal it was and I didn't feel comfortable being there.

Our house while growing up, wasn't afraid of that basement and have spent many moments in the back room which we called the fruit cellar during tornado warnings. That is what it looked like to me, a basement, I remember seeing a photo with a ton of knives and a teddy bear.

In the first photo with Bob sleeping and an opened bottle of beer, I'm wondering the way the kid is screaming so close to his face, if he may have slipped some drug into the beer and that is why there is no reaction to the screaming? Or maybe right after the scream, Bob wakes up?

I only saw the trailer a few times and now I'm trying to find one that hasn't been disable by Myriad Pictures claiming copyright infringement so I can watch it again. I think Bob is passed out drunk if I recall and he does wake up.

I on the other hand hate basements. And I have a feeling this movie is going to re-inforce my dislike of basements. Nantz I too recall part of the trailer where it looks like Bob's drunk. This may be the aftermath of that bender. Oh and Sandy--I like a little hair on my chest.

vikeau said...

Let me rephrase my last sentence there. I like a little hair on a man's chest and not a little hair on MY chest. I hit the comment button before I realized my language faux pas. Duh!

Rose said...

Thanks, about Bob waking up, don't remember seeing that. In the last photo what is in the kid's hand, there is a book, and it looks to thick to be a pen, and it kind of looks like a tube of mascara. Vikeau, you don't like any hair on your chest? LOL

Nantz said...

It's a tube of lipstick and I'm thinking it may be a keepsake of his that was his mother's when he was first abducted.

Vikeau and Rose...You guys are too funny!!!Since my hubby is the "missing link" and we have been married for 47 years, it is no wonder that I would like something a little different!

Rose said...

Darn it, I was going to say maybe a tube of lipstick, why I said mascara, don't know. I'll bet it is a keepsake, for some reason I think the ending is going to have a twist that the audience will be surprised by. Sandy that is a very long time to be married, we have been married almost 33 years, I understand your comment. LOL

SINCE I will only see this flik through my fingers, I am guessing that belonged to the murdered girl.

Makes more sense......Human Puzzle....I will have to see more of the dialogue to get the connection, but I understand where the killer was going with that....teaching his "son" about sex, etc.....

vikeau said...

Sandy and Rose congrats on the longevity of your marriages. I think its splendid.

Thanks for the great photos, love the first one in particular, with the bare belly and chest. I can't wait to see this movie, love VDO as a bad guy.

Rose said...

Thank-you Vikeau, but since next month he will be taking early retirement, let's see how long it will then last LOL

Sandy said...

Thank you Vikeau. It is a miracle of some sorts for it to last that long. but I keep telling myself it could be a lot worse and I live pretty good! And as long as he doesn't tear down all my photos of Vincent in my bedroom, I'll let him live here yet. (just kidding, I know, I'm terrible).

In picture 4 it looks like prescription bottles and some kind of glass jar? Not sure what exactly is on the shelf. That drain on the floor where the bagged girl is laying, is just plain creepy and disturbing. By the looks from the trailer it appears that Bob's house is out in the boondocks. Sandy, we have to set our rules of the house LOL

Rose said...

OH, you put up two new pictures, thank-you. Bob looks absolutely evil in that last pic, terrifying look. I'm so haunted by the pic in front of the TV, I keep going back and looking at it, I see way more going on in that pic besides a young man chained watching snow on a TV, mesmerizing...

Nantz said...

Rose, I thought those bottles looked like prescription bottles too but they got distorted when I tried to zoom up on them. The photo of 'Rabbit' in front of the TV reminds me of 'Poltergeist'. And, I agree, 'Bob' looks downright evil.

Rose said...

Poltergeist, yeah I can see that, I'm seeing a commentary on society being shackled in front of a TV set, watching no matter what is on, same goes with being shackled to a computer or video game. I really need to stop taking things so seriously LOL Hate to imagine what is in those prescription bottles, he looks like a serial killer with no soul.

Nantz said...

I can see that, Rose, definitely a secret nod to the 'electronic babysitter'. What I find astounding is how Vincent turned his normally warm chocolate eyes into ones of pure dark evilness.

vikeau said...

I must say I think its interesting that the kid's leg is padded. I'm wondering if Bob takes him out and this is a way to "cover up" the bondage.

Nantz said...

Good point, vikeau, maybe Bob has a soft spot, LOL.
