Yeah it bums me out when movies are made and then shelved, and then released years later.

This is one I really have been anxious to see.

It must also be frustrating for all the actors and everyone else involved in making the movie, to see it shelved. I'd love to see it released, always keen to see another Vincent movie.

It's part of what makes film projects - especially independently produced ones - so frustrating. When all the production pieces come together, and the project is finally in the can, it still has to be released.

Slogging through the ratings process, finding a distributor, and funding the marketing campaign (which can cost as much as producing the film) - accomplish all that, then some obscure legal glitch, a change in the cultural landscape, or just someone exercising their option to say "no" can keep a film shelved indefinitely. :P

I wish we knew what is causing the hold-up.

I concur. Ever since I first read about this film I've been dying to see it.

The reason I think something's happening is because there has been 'activity'...on the IMDb page the status was updated in April and the Facebook page has been changed to the newly formatted 'timeline' as if they are getting things ready. The IMDb page now has the movie release as 2012.

We're in 2012 now right?

Right, and the movie was filmed in 2010 for a 2011 release but now it was changed to 2012.
