Here in Australia it is a public holiday, but most things are open. Hubby works retail, and had to work. My teenage boys wanted to stay home and watch the cricket, but my nieces are hardcore shoppers. I got some serious bargains shopping with them and my sister.

Thursday 7am here now. I'm off to check out the clearance sales, it was too hectic yesterday.
I always thought it was so lame that the US doesn't have 12/26 off as well. It's so unfair to expect people to go to work the day after Christmas.
