Recently watched the movie "12 Monkeys". I some times forget that Bruce Willis can actually act. He's done so many of those action flicks you come to expect the same thing over and over again.
You HAVE to check out a movie called Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson. One of the most endearing, quirky, pretentious, beautiful movies I've seen recently. It's beautifully shot and they used 16mm film so the amount of effort they put into framing each shot..you will definitely appreciate it. There are two scenes that will make you go "wtf" in the sense that they are intensely unrealistic, but all in all great movie. It has Bruce Willis (doing a fantastic acting job), Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and some of the best children actors I've seen. Check it out.
