Opening night film will be 'Robot & Frank' whose production was done by Park Pictures headed by Sam Bisbee and his wife, Jackie who are also listed as Producers on the film along with Co-Producer, Erika Hampson. Also worth mentioning in the long list of Producers is Lance Acord who was in the film 'The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys' with Vincent back in 2002. Two important things to note: Networking works and 'don't burn your bridges.' This film has been getting a lot of buzz and best wishes for its continued success!

Wednesday "Robot & Frank" opened the Charleston International Film Festival. I was able to go, and it really is a wonderful film. ChsIFF continues through Sunday.
(I'm going to a block of short films tonight & the block of SC Film Commission Indie Grant winners tomorrow morning. I've also been to free workshops in movie editing and soundscapes; one more today in animation. Film festivals are great opportunities to see films that might never get to your local multiplex. -- I guess I'm a little excited about film festivals! ;oD)
That's so cool, Debra...it sounds like you are really enjoying getting involved. We don't have a lot of that here but our film industry has grown considerably.
I hope I can get to see it on the big screen, if not small screen will work. From all that I 've read it's a wonderful flick.
